User Data Overview

The User Data Overview helps you visualize core user growth and activity within your application. Through intuitive charts and metric cards, you can quickly understand user trends to support operational decisions.

Path: RootAuth Console → Enter your application → "Overview" in the left navigation bar

1. Metric Cards

Four key metrics are displayed in the middle of the page:

Note: The "Total Users" card displays "as of current time" below the number. Click → User List at the bottom right to quickly view all users.

2. Time Filter

The time filter is located at the top‑right corner of the page:

• Supports selection of Last 7 days (default), Last 30 days, Last 90 days, or a custom range

• When the selected range is ≤ 60 days, the chart aggregates data by day; when > 60 days, aggregation switches to month

• The time filter affects "New Registrations", "Logins", and "Active Users" as well as the chart data below. "Total Users" is not affected

Timezone note: All time data is displayed based on your browser’s current timezone. The filter area shows the active timezone (e.g., Timezone: Asia/Shanghai).

3. Data Trend Chart

The lower part of the page shows how the selected metrics change over time:

• Chart type toggle: Switch between Line Chart / Bar Chart at the top‑right corner; line chart is the default

• Legend interaction: Click on a legend item (Registrations / Logins / Active Users) below the chart to hide or show the corresponding line/bar. Card values are not affected

• Data inspection: Hover over any data point on the chart to see a tooltip with the exact value for that date (or month)

• Axes: The X‑axis automatically aggregates based on the selected time unit (days: MM‑DD, months: YYYY‑MM). The Y‑axis shows integer user counts (deduplicated) with automatically computed appropriate ticks

Note: Total users is a cumulative value that does not change over time, therefore it is not shown in the trend chart.
